Vegan Guide
Vegan skate goods can be hard to find clearly. This guide exists to make it easier.
Carpe Diem Skate focuses on products made without animal-derived materials whenever that information is available. That means paying attention to things like leather, suede, wool, silk, animal-based glues, and other materials that can sometimes be hidden in product details.
We’re not here to make it complicated. We’re here to help people make more intentional choices.

How we label products
Verified Vegan
The brand or product listing confirms the item is vegan or made without animal-derived materials.
Vegan Materials Listed
The listed materials appear vegan, but not every detail, such as glue, dye, or finishing, has been directly confirmed.
Needs Confirmation
The product looks promising, but we need more information before calling it vegan.
Skate shoes note
Many traditional skate shoes use suede or leather because they are durable. We look for canvas, synthetic suede, synthetic leather, and clearly labeled vegan models whenever possible.
If we are not fully sure about a shoe, we will say that. The goal is not perfection. The goal is clarity.
Brand promise
We will do our best to be clear about what is confirmed, what is likely, and what still needs more research.
Carpe Diem Skate is built around better choices, not pressure. Skate lightly. Choose intentionally. Seize the day.
